Director of Special Education Services

Come be the educational leader in an innovative school for children and teens with Autism and related disabilities! Work with our multi-disciplinary team to create, implement, and evaluate state-of-the-art instruction and curriculum. Development and supervision of Center policies and procedures, including compliance to regulations, human rights, human resources, health and safety, client enrollment, curriculum and client programs, record keeping systems, buildings and grounds, transportation, and program monitoring; supervision of daily program status.

Education, Experience and Special Skills:

• Master's degree in special education and RI Special Education Administrator Certification. Willing to work with an appropriate candidate for preliminary certification
• RI Certification in Special Education.
• 5 years' experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
• 5 years supervisory or leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Unique Curriculum and PowerSchool.
