Service Technician/Mechanic

The Service Technician/Mechanic position is responsible for minor and major repair on aggregate/mining equipment including crushers, screeners, conveyor systems, etc.

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities

• Identifies and diagnoses mechanical problems on aggregate equipment
• Evaluates mechanical failures, determines cause and completes timely and effective repairs
  
• Responds to field service calls as assigned
• Other tasks as assigned

Skills & Requirements

• Mining background is a plus, familiar with aggregate equipment
• Possesses mechanical knowledge on various types of aggregate equipment
• Required to follow all safety policies
• Ability to take direction in the shop and field
• "Can do" attitude with a sense of urgency
  
• Strong communication skills
• Welding skills are a plus
• Both in shop and field work will be required
• Moderate computer skills

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on equipment repair
• Dealer or manufacturer training desirable
• CDL preferred
