The Packaging Department Manager is accountable for the daily performance and execution of all packaging operations in the plant. This role owns OEE, labor effectiveness, material flow, schedule attainment, safety, and quality for all packaging lines and shifts. Acting as the primary link between plant strategy and frontline execution, the Packaging Department Manager drives results through a disciplined Tier process, capability development, and problem solving. This is a high-impact, operational leadership role essential to the plant’s overall performance. **In this role, you will:** + Foster a culture of safety, proactively addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions, and ensure packaging operations meet or exceed quality standards. + Fostering a skill progression system that builds the right technical, behavioral and leadership skills across the plant. + Ensure successful execution of MES and SAP EWM processes on the production floor, driving compliance and effective use. + Facilitate Tier meetings, drive escalation discipline, and ensure consistent execution of plant standards across shifts. + Lead DMAIC-based initiatives to identify and eliminate chronic production losses, process bottlenecks, and operational inefficiencies. + Actively participating in the Plant Leadership Team, working on strategic solutions and resource needs, while contributing to our people first culture **What we look for:** + 5+ years of Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain experience + Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (experience overseeing/managing multiple shifts), with a strong track record of driving a safety-first culture and ensuring operations consistently meet or exceed quality standards. + Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (DMAIC/Lean/Six Sigma) to eliminate chronic losses and improve overall equipment effectiveness and operational performance. + Hands-on experience with production systems such as MES and SAP EWM, compliance, accurate inventory/transaction management. + Experience developing frontline teams and leading daily management systems, including facilitating Tier meetings, driving escalation discipline, building technical and leadership capability, and contributing effectively within a Plant Leadership Team. + BS/BA – Technical/Engineering, operations, or Business or equivalent experience. \#LI-ONSITE **Workplace type:** Onsite **Our values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area. –Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900 –Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100 –Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300 All ranges are subject to change in the future.
