We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented line cooks who take pride in their work and want to be part of a strong, disciplined kitchen.

Position Overview

As a Line Cook at Patty & Press, you’ll be responsible for executing our menu at a high level during service. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires focus, urgency, and consistency. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to deliver great food every time.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Execution

• Prepare and cook menu items to Patty & Press standards
• Execute smash burgers, fries, and sides with speed and consistency
• Follow all recipes, portioning, and plating guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized station during service

Prep & Organization

• Complete prep tasks accurately and efficiently
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Properly label, store, and rotate ingredients (FIFO)

Cleanliness & Food Safety

• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean at all times
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanliness as needed

Teamwork

• Communicate clearly with teammates and management
• Support other stations during busy periods
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude under pressure

Qualifications

• Kitchen or line cook experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
