Location: Yuma, CO
Pay: $32–$45/hour (flexible for the right experience)
Type: Full-Time | Hourly + Paid Overtime + Full Benefits

If you’re a diesel or heavy equipment technician who enjoys variety, values both shop time and field work, and wants to be treated like a professional—this role is worth a closer look.

We’re a growing agricultural equipment provider supporting farmers who rely on their machines every single day. Uptime matters here, and so do the people who make it happen. We’re looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys hands-on problem solving, and is interested in a stable, long-term career in ag equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hybrid shop and field service role, supported by modern service trucks (no CDL required) and a strong parts and service team.

You’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of agricultural equipment, including:

  • Tractors
  • Hay equipment
  • Combines and related machinery

Schedule

Busy Season (May–October):

  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Alternating Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Off-Season (November–May):

  • Standard 40-hour workweek
  • No weekends
  • Primarily shop-based work

✔ Paid overtime applies
✔ Hours are steady and predictable for the industry

Who This Role Is For

We’re open to technicians from:

  • Agricultural equipment
  • Construction or heavy equipment
  • Fleet or over-the-road diesel backgrounds

If you’re comfortable with diagnostics and ready to apply your skills in an ag environment, we want to talk.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Formal diesel training preferred, but hands-on experience absolutely considered
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug screen (required for operating heavy machinery)

Pay, Benefits & Perks

We offer a competitive compensation package designed to support you on and off the job:

  • Competitive hourly pay with paid overtime
  • Bonus based on department profitability
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage
  • Life insurance & employee assistance program
  • Paid time off
  • Ongoing on-the-job and manufacturer training
  • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

Why This Is a Great Opportunity

  • Balance of field independence and shop support
  • Modern equipment and service trucks (no CDL required)
  • Real investment in training and long-term growth
  • Team culture that values professionalism, family, and doing the job right
  • Consistent hours with a slower off-season to reset and recharge

If you’re looking for more than just another wrench-turning job—and want a long-term role where your experience truly matters—this is a solid opportunity in a strong agricultural community.
