About this job
Oak Ridge Schools Extended Childcare is now hiring part time staff at our middle school location. The hours are 2:30-5:30 Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesdays or other early dismissel days 12:30p-5:30pm. Job will begin March 23, 2026. Pay will be based on experience.
Job Description:
- Interacts with students
- Supervising students
- Writing receipts
- Maintaining areas ECC uses
- Implementing student activities
- Other duties as directed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-year experience in childcare program or equivalent
- Must enjoy working with children
- Must be dependable
- Able to stand for periods of time
- Have a great communication skills and work well with others
- Must be able to take direction
Physical Requirements:
- Bending and stooping
- Sitting in floor
- Occasional Lifting
- Extended standing
- Able to tolerate outdoor conditions
Start Date: 03/23/26
Salary From: $15.00
Salary To: Depends on experience
