Duties and responsibilities:
- Ability to identify and evaluate molds, cores and mix; prepare as needed.
- Follow work order instructions for press temperature and pressure requirements.
- Test and evaluate pressed product and transfer to next operation.
- Monitor supplies in work process and communicate supply needs with MRP process.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment
- Willingness to learn.
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Perform multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a neat and orderly workplace.
- Take initiative and demonstrate internal drive for results.
- Prioritize and determine the appropriate order of tasks according to relative importance.
- Comprehend and successfully follow documented procedures.
- Follow all company safety policies and practices.
- Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
Education/training requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude required for this role.
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Desire to share a positive attitude with the team.
- Previous work in an industrial manufacturing environment a plus
- Basic computer skills.
- Capability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Show strong motivation to help the business succeed and reach its goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Stand for 4+ hours a day.
- Willingness to follow company PPE standards to work with chemicals found onsite.
