Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and active fetal monitoring certification

Details\n

\n
• Provides comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
\n
• Unit includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, an OB Triage Unit, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
\n
• Facility recently expanded with five new Labor & Delivery rooms featuring modern equipment
\n
• Night shift schedule of 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30
\n
• Rotating holidays and weekends required
\n
• Block scheduling is not available
\n
• Patient ratio typically 1:1-2
\n
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
\n
• Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience
\n
• OB Triage experience required
\n
• Previous travel nursing experience required
\n
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, AWHONN Intermediate accepted if C-EFM obtained for contracts extending to 1 year or more
\n
• Current BLS and NRP certification required
\n
• ACLS and AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
\n
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
\n
• Previous charge experience preferred
\n
• Skilled in Labor and Delivery Management
\n
• Experience circulating for C-section preferred
\n
• Two professional references required for consideration
\n
• Proof of residency matching candidate's licensure required
\n
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required
\n

• Longer assignments through January 9, 2027 are available but not required
\n
• Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
\n
• Facility is smoke free
\n
• RTO requests must be submitted with application and will be reviewed on a per case basis

• No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate
