Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is seeking applicants for an Instructional Support Technician 2 for Science and Enology/Viticulture at the Walla Walla campus.

General Responsibilities:
This position provides integrated instructional and laboratory support across the science department and the Enology & Viticulture (EV) program at Walla Walla Community College. The incumbent supports hands-on laboratory instruction, prepares and maintains instructional environments, assists faculty and students during lab activities, and ensures safe operation, maintenance, and compliance within various laboratories, winery, vineyard, and classroom settings.
This combined role ensures continuity of laboratory instruction, efficient preparation and breakdown of instructional activities, and consistent support for student learning across disciplines. This position will be a 50/50 split between the science department and EV program.

Conditions/Terms of Employment
This classified position is in a bargaining unit for which WPEA Higher Ed is the exclusive representative.
You will provide support to students in laboratory and applied learning environments. This position typically works 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Morning hours are required for science lab support and flexible scheduling required for instructional needs.
The main setting will be in a laboratory, winery, vineyard, and instructional labs and classroom environments. Job related hazards include regular exposure to chemicals, reagents, equipment, and motorized machinery. Typical tools and equipment include regular operation of trucks, tractors, forklifts, laboratory equipment, winery crush pad and vineyard equipment on both a mechanized and hand operated level.
You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without the help of a hand truck, you must be able to work standing, and you must be able to walk for extended periods.
Minimal travel may be required.
The college has an excellent benefit program including medical, dental, life and long-term disability insurance; paid sick leave; paid vacation leave; and retirement plan. All full-time employees will automatically have 3% of taxable income deferred into the State of Washington Deferred Compensation Program (DCP) unless declined at time of hire.
