Job Summary


The Psychology Department at Susquehanna University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) position with open area of expertise, to start in August 2026.

Specific Responsibilities


Teaching responsibilities include a 3/3 course load, including service courses, such as Principles of Psychology, Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, and/or Research Methods. Based on individual interests. Opportunities for research are available.

Minimum Qualifications


  • An earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology (ABD considered; Ph.D. required by time of appointment)
  • Demonstrated success in undergraduate teaching and strong interest in the liberal arts
