Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector & Test Technician to join their team. As a Quality Inspector & Test Technician, you will be an integral part of the production support team, ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills, which will enable you to succeed and grow within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector & Test Technician
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pay Range: $24-$26
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3PM-11:30PM
What's the Job?
- Perform end-of-line inspections to verify compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and document findings accurately in the system (tablet).
- Identify defects, determine root causes, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical malfunctions during assembly and testing.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1-2 years of experience as a Test Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (compressors, fan motors, valves, condensers, piping, and control devices)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet networking and computer systems, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
