SALARY RANGE: 19.66 - 29.49HOURLY
General Summary:
Under close supervision, provides general administrative support for the department. The Administrative Assistant I performs a variety of administrative duties and secretarial support for staff and management. (Directly reports to a Supervisor and/or Manager)
Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support by performing a variety of duties such as preparing documents, reports and presentations. May also provide general secretarial support such as typing, copying, faxing, etc.
2. Collects, compiles and analyzes data and information. Create spreadsheets and maintain database files as requested. Assist with special projects.
3. Manage incoming phone calls as needed, routing them as appropriate.
4. Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review. Maintains files.
5. Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments and make travel arrangements for staff as necessary.
6. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities
