Indian Health Service Contract
Compensation Package
• 20 per hour taxable base rate
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• 800 weekly taxable wages
• 500 weekly travel allowance
• 1,246 weekly per diem
• 2,546 total weekly gross compensation
Schedule
• Full time assignment
• 40 hours per week
• Rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Contract Overview
• Federal contract supporting the Indian Health Service
• Base year with option years
• Long term assignment with consistent scheduling
Primary Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and serology
• Collect, process, and prepare specimens for analysis
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation
• Conduct and document quality control procedures
• Accurately record and report laboratory findings
• Support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department services
Required Qualifications
• Current ASCP certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of recent clinical laboratory experience
• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
• Strong technical proficiency and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional standards
