General job duties. Types of procedures required. POSITION SUMMARY: Performs MRI procedures according to protocols established by the radiologists; Performs on a technical level without constant supervision of technical detail; Performs procedures for both adult and pediatric patients requiring independent judgment to apply prescribed and appropriate MRI scanning techniques for diagnosis; assumes responsibility of designated area and procedures performed; prepares and screens patients and objects going into the magnet room for magnet safety. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Philips Ingenia 1.5 Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector Omnicell EPIC FUJI PACS 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 5-7 years ***manager approved 2 years (11/14/2025) 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) ARRT, BLS, MR 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) 3:30p-12a. May work alone at times. 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) No 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 1 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
