As a Canning Operator, you'll play a critical role on a high-performing production team, operating modern canning and powder packaging equipment in a clean, GMP-driven environment.

This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing things right the first time.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor high-speed canning and powder packaging equipment
• Set up, run, and maintain filling, seaming, and packing machinery
• Follow SOPs to ensure product quality, efficiency, and consistency
• Perform routine quality checks (labeling, coding, seals, weight verification)
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and take corrective action
• Perform maintenance and repairs using proper lockout/tagout procedures
• Maintain GMP, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
• Complete batch work orders accurately (Batch Correct First Time)
• Lift and handle materials weighing 55 lbs or more
• Provide backup support for alternate canning operations as needed

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred
  (Infant formula experience is a plus)
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to a safety-first culture
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with urgency
• Flexibility to work overnights, overtime, and weekends as needed
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, kneel, and work with tools for 8-10 hour shifts
