Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal support to individuals, assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Encourage participation in social activities and community integration to promote personal growth and social skills.
• Document individual progress and maintain accurate records to ensure effective communication and care.
• Work collaboratively with team members and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals by adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment, respecting the dignity and rights of individuals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and families.
• Demonstrated empathy and patience when working with individuals with diverse needs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community involvement.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or must be obtained upon hire.
