Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an OH or compact RN license in hand.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a large hospital setting
- Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Shift rotation may be required based on hospital operational needs, though preferred shift will be honored when possible
- Holiday coverage required, with a minimum of every other holiday worked
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required prior to travel assignments
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
