Job Title: Core Cutter/Packer

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7:30am (train on 1st shift)

$18.50/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Core Cutter. In this role, you will operate a core cut machine, ensuring the quality of prints and seams. Prior experience is not necessary, as we value your ability to learn and collaborate with our team.

Responsibilities

• Continuously check for print and seam quality.
• Remove defective material and splice the roll web back together per specifications.
• Utilize a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during the splicing procedure, and as needed.
• Handle rolls and palletize them to prevent damage.
• Record and enter data on designated paperwork and in the company operation system.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

• Mechanically inclined

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience and mechanical understanding is helpful.
• Ability to follow directions and work well with others.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements.

Work Environment

Work during the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7 AM. Alternatively, the 2nd shift is available Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM. Earn a competitive starting wage of $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift premium. Embrace a workplace that fosters teamwork and communication in a structured, production environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
