Maintenance Worker - FT/PT

We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on team member who takes pride in keeping buildings, grounds, and vehicles in excellent condition. As a Maintenance Worker, you will support the daily upkeep of our facilities, grounds, and agency vehicles. You’ll assist with basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and snow/ice removal during weather events. Your contributions will directly impact the comfort and safety of our community.
Pay rate: $17.50 - $18.00 (The pay rate will be determined by the candidate’s training and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.)
This position is available for either a part-time or full-time schedule:
- Part-Time (32 hours/week):
Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
OR
- Full-Time (40 hours/week):
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements:
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- A minimum of one year of experience in maintenance work
- Valid, current driver’s license for 3 or more years and acceptable driving record (REQUIRED)
- Must possess satisfactory knowledge of plumbing, general mechanics, carpentry, painting
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner with a variety of disciplines within an organization
- Ability to engage with youth and adults in a trauma-informed, empathetic, and developmentally appropriate manner
- Minimum of three references, at least two of which should be from a supervisor
- Ability to be on-call for emergency snow removal is a must
