Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time paraprofessional position is available in Marysville, CA, supporting a 2nd grade student on a 1:1 basis. This role requires in-person work within a school setting and emphasizes providing specialized assistance to younger students, including communication support. The assignment starts immediately and continues through June 5, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a 2nd-grade student to facilitate learning and development
• Assist with classroom activities and adapt instructional materials as needed
• Utilize American Sign Language (ASL) skills to support effective communication
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to meet student needs

Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting, preferably working with young children
• Comfort and skill in working with 2nd-grade students
• Proficiency or familiarity with ASL is highly desired
• Ability to work in person for approximately 30 hours per week
• Reliable and patient, with strong interpersonal skills
• Preferred candidate under 35 years of age
