Social Media Intern Entry Level - Now Hiring

Bonnie Brae Ice Cream is seeking a part-time Social Media Assistant to support the creation and management of digital content across our social platforms. This entry-level position is ideal for a college student interested in marketing, communications, or digital media who is looking to gain hands-on experience with a well-established local brand. Position Summary The Social Media Assistant will help develop, produce, and publish content that highlights our products, seasonal offerings, and community presence. The role involves content creation, basic editing, scheduling, and assisting with on-site coverage of events and store activities. Key Responsibilities - Capture photo and video content in-store and at occasional events. - Produce short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook. - Draft clear, engaging captions aligned with brand voice and messaging. - Assist with content planning and scheduling to maintain a consistent posting cadence. - Monitor engagement and flag notable comments or messages for follow-up. - Support special projects such as product launches, promotions, or community partnerships. Qualifications - Current college student preferred; all majors welcome. - Familiarity with major social media platforms and current content trends. - Basic video editing skills using mobile or desktop tools. - Strong written communication skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with store leadership. - Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude when interacting with staff and customers.
