NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Utica, NY.

This position involves working in a specialized cardiovascular surgical environment assisting with cardiac procedures. The unit provides focused, high-acuity care with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, making it ideal for nurses with operating room experience who prefer a structured day-shift schedule.

Common Diagnoses & Procedures:

• Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)

• Aortic Stenosis (AS)

• Mitral Regurgitation (MR)

• Cardiovascular surgical procedures

Technology & Equipment:

• EPIC EMR

• Omnicell Medication System

• Cardiovascular surgical equipment

Floating: May be required if census is low

• Minimum 1+ year CVOR or Operating Room experience required

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Active New York RN License

• Current BLS certification

• Current ACLS certification

• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

• Experience assisting with cardiovascular procedures preferred
