pimg src="https://rmkcdn.successfactors.com/81de82ba/1645d45a-6e4c-488f-9b7d-5.png" alt="Vestas Factory"/ppstrongEquipment Technician/strong/p pThe Equipment Technician supports production by helping maintain, repair and fill automated resin dispensing machines and production moulds./p p /p pstrongResponsibilities:/strong/p ul style="list-style-type:disc" liSupport Production self-managed teams./li liAssisting in repairs or maintenance of dispensing machines./li liFill machines with components and complete all production paperwork./li liPerform mould repairs/support refurbishment  /li liCleaning of machines as part of first line maintenance./li liMaintain mould, mouldette's, root plates, mould services./li liWork to detailed planned maintenance using electronic asset management./li liUsing electronic asset management record all work against each machine./li liKeep records of parts used and up to date Kanban system./li liUnderstand mechanical drawings./li liUnderstanding of basic electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics./li liMaintain a clean and orderly work environment./li liAbility to receive and maintain forklift certification./li liLift, position, and/or remove material from work areas./li liUse and handle hazardous materials and understand their hazards at various locations using machines and equipment, properly segregate hazardous materials and waste./li liCommunicate to warehouse and/or shipping the transport of hazardous materials and waste according to strict regulatory requirements./li liComply with state and federal regulations for handling, storage, disposal, transport etc. of hazardous materials and waste./li liOther duties as assigned.                                       br                                                                                                                                          /li /ul pstrongQualifications /strong/p ul style="list-style-type:disc" liHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)/li li1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical systems, electrical work, or equipment maintenance and repair./li liAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
