Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and have the ability to make logical decisions as it relates to the maintenance of the equipment./p p style="text-align: left;"strongMajor Responsibilities /stronginclude but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary./p ul style="text-align: left;" liEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions./li liLocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments./li liRemoves defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts./li liAdjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges./li liControls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance./li liConserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results./li liProvides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests./li liPrepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends./li liMaintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks./li liMaintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs./li liMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations./li liPerforms preventative maintenance on equipment and documents problems on work orders/li liOperates Forklift, Scissor Lift and Bucket Lift, upon completing training and certification processes./li liLockout/Tagout Certification, upon completing training and certification processes./li /ul p style="text-align: left;"strongRequirements:/strong/p ul style="text-align: left;" liHigh School Diploma/GED  /li li2 or more years of industrial mechanic experience/li liLockout/Tagout knowledge/li /ul pemPreferred/em/p ul liForklift, Scissor Lift and Bucket Lift certifications/li liLockout/Tagout Certification/li /ul p style="text-align: left;" /p pspan style="color: #000000;"strongWHY JOIN THE AMES COMPANIES/strong /span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"We have amazing Benefits!
