pstrongJob Summary/strong/p pIn this role you will support positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards As astrong Plant Operator/Maintenance/strong you will work with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment/p pstrong /strongstrongDay to Day/strong/p ul liActively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition/li liOperate quarry equipment/li liPerform daily maintenance on the plant./li liComply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations./li liPerform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance/li liMaintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators/li liPerform other duties or responsibilities as assigned/li /ul pstrongAbout You/strong/p ul li2 -5 Years experience preferred/li liExperience with Loader SIZE 988, 400 Excavator and other mid-Size Quarry Equipment./li liCurrent MSHA Training a plus./li liPrior experience working on Portable as well as Stationery crushing plants./li liPrompt, regular, and predictable attendance/li liPositive, Team-based attitude/li liThe ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required./li liAbility to lift 25-50 lbs. on occasion./li liThe ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)/li liAbility to Operate Heavy Equipment Safely/li liUnderstand and carry out oral written instructions/li liAbility to keep accurate daily record./li liKnowledge of plant maintenance and construction materials/li liGood Mental concentration and judgement/li liAbility to work independently with minimal supervision/li /ul pstrongWorking Conditions and physical environment/strong/p pWhile most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty./p pstrongCompensation/strong/p ul li$24.36 – 32.69/li /ul pstrongBenefits/strong/p pArcosa is proud to offer competitive benefits and programs to help you and your family meet your healthcare and retirement planning needs.
