Regular attendance according to the position's management approved work schedule is required for all positions.nbsp;/embrbrolliPerform appraisal tasks according to proper assessment procedures; including tasks such as compiling data on properties, inspecting properties or buildings, and determining characteristics such as building age, size, quality of construction, availability of utilities, and other attributes that could affect value./liliPerform desktop inspections of properties utilizing aerial photography and GIS mapping to verify exterior property characteristics and look for changes. nbsp;Update computer aided mass appraisal (CAMA) system with current property data./liliCollect data for other staff appraisers/supervisors./liliCompile and review data for input to the computer assisted mass appraisal system./liliLearn and efficiently operate various computer software and programs./liliOther duties as assigned./li/olESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1 - 6 are essential./ph2Other Qualifications/h2pulliKnowledge of appraisal theories and techniques./liliAbility to prepare clear and concise reports./liliAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing./liliAbility to work effectively with the public, department and County associates in a professional manner./liliAbility to organize work efficiently and effectively./liliAbility to use computers and computer programs proficiently./li/ulstrongWORK ENVIRONMENT/strong: Work is performed in a County office building. Lifting requirement of up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Exposure to hazardous physical conditions such as mechanical parts, electrical currents, and vibration; atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, gases and poor ventilation; extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, and intense noise may occur on the job. Must have the physical ability to work outside in all weather and inspect properties.
