Street Division - Seasonal Laborer - Full-time / Part-time

h2About the Department/h2ppThe City of Brainerd is currently accepting applications for two temporary/seasonal laborers in the Street Department. nbsp;Primary duties will be assisting the Street crew with painting streets, crosswalks, and parking stalls utilizing forms and power paint sprayer. Will also be involved in routine labor such as pothole patching, cleaning catch basins after rain events, etc. as well as other duties when assigned or necessary. nbsp; nbsp;/p/ph2Position Duties/h2pulliPainting streets, crosswalks, and parking stallsliPot hole patchingliCleaning storm water catch basins/ul/ph2Minimum Qualifications/h2pstronguMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:/u/strongbrulliValid MN driver's licenseliPhysical ability for frequent bending and liftingliAwareness of traffic flow is required/ulstronguDESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:/u/strongulliPrevious experience in street maintenance including painting and striping/ul/ph2Other Qualifications/h2ppstronguTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT*:/u/strongnbsp; nbsp; Salary is $18 - $20 per hour DOQ. nbsp;Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week without overtime. nbsp; Please note that the crew may start earlier some days if the workload requires.
