Schedule production units within assigned areas and assist in control of productive materials, hardware expense items, and expedite shortages./span/p pnbsp;/p pspan style="font-size:10.0pt"strongESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:nbsp;/strong/span/p ul li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"You will coordinate material for your designated area as well as between areas to meet scheduled ship dates./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"You will review and update the status of orders and materials with manufacturing supervisors, material control personnel, and people in work areas, customer service, and KanBan expeditors. Includes regularly scheduled multi-functional production meetings which vary from once a week to daily depending on area(s) of responsibility./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"You will utilize the computer, including Microsoft Excel, DMM, AS400, and the Material Synchronization Spreadsheet, to maintain control of floor stock and floor records./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"You will process surplus, rejected, and/or defective material according to procedures./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"You will problem solve manufacturing information by identifying missing and incorrect items./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"Attend the Tier meeting, check and update emails, and log into required systems (DMM, Enovia, AS400)./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"Review production tasks, including checking turnbacks, the Kanban list, crane sheets, and SPCs on the brake and/or punches; also identify past-due parts./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"Coordinate with operators to assist with part flow and, if necessary, operate the forklift to support production needs./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"Conduct end-of-day 5S tasks to maintain a clean, organized workspace./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"You will act as a back-up Team Lead if needed, ensuring continuity in leadership and operations./span/li /ul/div/divdiv style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"Qualifications:/h2 /divdivpspan style="font-size:10.0pt"strongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:/strong/span/p ul type="disc" li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution/span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience required./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"Prior work experience using a computer, including competence in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required./span/li li style="font-size:10.0pt"span style="font-size:10.0pt"No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
