Smarte Carte is focused on being environmentally responsible by owning/operating recyclable equipment and reducing our carbon footprint./p pstrongThe Maintenance Technician position at Denver International Airport offers all that and more!  The essential functions and responsibilities include:/strong/p pstrongESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/p ul liManually move carts throughout departures, baggage claim, garage, and rental car center to our cart collection areas (vending units or cart track)./li liTransport carts using mechanized equipment following established routes to ensure customers have access to luggage carts./li liAdhere to cart replenishment inventory protocol for rental mechanized equipment./li liChange batteries in machines./li liRepair luggage carts and wheelchairs./li liPerform routine cleaning of carts, CMU’s, cart tracks and moving equipment./li liLearn and practice safe work habits thus assuring safety to self, co-workers, company equipment, airport property, passengers and visitors./li liAmbassador Service to patrons purchasing luggage carts./li liGeneral customer service to assist passengers navigating throughout Denver International Airport./li liPossess strong work habits and perform the job in an honest, reliable, and a professional manner./li liEffectively communicate with peers, maintenance and management to improve business operations./li liAble to withstand undesirable weather conditions (wind, rain, snow, extreme temperatures)./li liAdaptable to operational change./li liFLEXIBLE SCHEDULE POSSIBLE/li liOther duties as assigned by management/li /ul p /p pstrongQUALIFICATIONS/strong/p ul liSix month successful work experience (unless currently a student)./li liAbility to pass state, federal (FAA), Home Land Security clearance requirements and reference checks./li liOpen scheduling availability required, including weekends and holidays./li liStrong customer service and mathematical comprehension, highly desired./li liDisplays confidence and competence in fast pace environment./li liComfortable speaking to the general public.br /br //li /ul pstrongPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/strong/p ul liLift up to 75 lbs. to waist height/li liPush/pull 75-100 lbs. to move 15 carts simultaneously/li liWalk stand for duration of shift/li /ul p /p pstrongCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/strong/p ul liAbility to be Airport Badged is required/li liValid Drivers License is required/li /ul
