So how about it?—Are you passionate about an opportunity like this?/p h2Responsibilities/h2 pstronguEssential Functions:/u/strong/p ul liProvide exceptional customer service, with excellent chair-side manner, by making the patient the#1 priority./li liBe present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times./li liTake direction from the doctor and/or hygienist(s), assist them with all dental procedures, and anticipate their needs./li liTake, develop and mount accurate, high-quality radiographs./li liReview patient charts prior to doctor arrival, log appropriate patient data and health history during the exam and treatment, as well as transcribe the doctor’s notes./li liClean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, per the organization’s procedures and guidelines, prior to a patient’s appointment./li liPerform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain the schedule and patient flow./li liEducate the patients and address their questions and/or concerns./li liDemonstrate good teamwork to deliver an extraordinary experience for every patient./li liPartner with the doctors, hygienists, Operations Leaders and support staff to maintain excellent patient service and integrity within the organization./li liAssist the front office staff in scheduling patients’ follow up visits, as well as tracking the incoming and outgoing lab cases, to ensure quality and timely products./li liWhen assigned by the Operations Leader, monitor the level of dental supplies and order using approved formulary./li liPromote and market Sonrava supported practices services and retail products./li liComplete checklists as assigned and participate in daily huddles to ensure that every single day flows smoothly./li liMaintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance./li liFollow the organization’s safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and BBP (Blood-borne Pathogens) federal regulations./li liComplete all Learning Management System requirements./li /ul h2Qualifications/h2 pstrongemEducation/Certification:/em/strong/p p /p ul liMinimum of high school diploma or equivalent required/li liCurrent radiography certification required/li liDental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified/li liCurrent certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred/li liCurrent certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred/li liMaintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training/li /ul p strongemSkills and Abilities:/em/strong/p ul liExperience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred/li liExcellent positive attitude and customer service skills/li liProfessionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job, including image and both verbal and written communication skills/li liPossess exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, including conflict resolution skills/li liStrong organization, planning and analytical skills/li liAbility to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment/li liComputer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as required/li /ul p strongemWork Environment and Conditions:/em/strong/p ul liOvertime required as approved by Operations Leader/li liTravel as needed for training and to perform job functions/li liSafety procedures and personal protective equipment required to minimize the risks from radiographs and blood-borne pathogens/li liPotential of prolonged sitting and standing/li /ul
