Our mission is to provide preschool age children with quality school readiness opportunities in a safe and nurturing Christian setting./p pemVision Statement:/emspan /spanTo be a premier preschool recognized for empowering our students to be academic leaders and faithful disciples./p pJob Overview:  Guide students in age-appropriate faith development, and academic and social-emotional skills./p pbr/p pJob Category:  Full-time hourly preschool classroom staff (Possible 9-month school year as well if interested)/p pbr/p pThis person would report to:   Preschool Director- Ashley Holmgren/p pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold"Preferred Qualifications/span/p pbr/p ul liHave a clear understanding of the Christian faith and possess the ability to share God’s story with children/li lispan style="font-weight: bold"Bachelor’s degree in early child education or child development; Elementary Education with Kindergarten endorsement accepted (will consider other 4-year degrees depending on early childhood teaching experience)/span/li liHave an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities/li liHave time management and organizational skills, be self-motivated, reliable, positive, professional/li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold"Expectations/span/p pbr/p ul liComply with Minnesota Department of Human Services Rule 3 and other statutes/li liSubmit to and pass a background check through the Minnesota Department of Human Services/li liEnsure the safety and well-being of each child/li liBe a positive role model/li liMaintain student/family confidentiality at all times/li liBe CPR/AED and First Aid certified or willing to be obtained within 90 days of employment/li liBe able to efficiently work with coworkers and have open communication with parents and families/li liMust be comfortable working on computers and various apps, such as Office365, Brightwheel, etc./li liHave effective classroom management skills and be willing to learn/li liCreate lessons plans that focus on age-appropriate skill development/li liBe able to kneel, bend, squat, sit on the floor to meet children's needs/li liBe outside a lot with the kids and engage in outdoor activities! br/li liHave an energetic, welcoming attitude, and have fun with kids! /li /ul
