The position involves day-to-day responsibilities and a variety of projects that will allow interns to enhance their industry knowledge. The role is in-person three days a week and remote two days per week./span/p p /p pstrongResponsibilities (or Project Work):/strong/p ul liGain an understanding of what attributes make prospects attractive for MA, specifically in the RIA and business management industries/li liAnalyze CIMs / CIPs and summarize materials for the corporate development team/li liCreate initial analysis based on prospect financials and compare to Wealthspire benchmarks/li liParticipate in initial calls with prospective target companies/li liGain an understanding for the deal approval process/li liCreate analysis based on the financials, AUM, and pro forma for use in various deliverables/li liParticipating in the departmental diligence processes/li liAssist in the creation of various presentations used throughout the diligence process/li liAssist in the creation of deal evaluation materials/li liAssist in the creation of the flow of funds/li liGain an understanding of the integration / monitoring process/li liParticipate in the integration kick off call immediately after close/li liAssist in the creation of the opening balance sheet/li liParticipate in the ongoing monitoring of businesses after closing/li /ul p /p pstrongQualifications:/strong/p ul liRising junior or senior preferred/li liPursuing an Undergraduate degree in related field/li liGenuine interest in investment research or investment consulting and desire to learn more about the financial services industry/li liStrong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, organization skills and time management skills/li liAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a collegial environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills/li liKnowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel/li /ul p /p pstrongDo you see yourself excelling in this position?/strong/p pDon't hesitate to apply, even if you don't meet every qualification on the list. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
