h2ubJob Description/b/u/h2p style="text-align:left"uTime Type/u:/pFull timep style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"uRole Details/u:/ph2bTime Type: Full Time/b/h2h2bStarting Pay: $21 / HR/b/h2h2bJob Location: 2505 RM 1869, Liberty Hill, TX 78642/b/h2p/pp/pp/ppbispanJob Summary:/span/i/b/ppThe Yard Supervisor will supervise the Yard Crewmembers and assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support./ph2/h2h2ispanSupervisory Responsibilities:/span/i/h2ulliTrains and mentors new team members or assists management with this process./liliCoordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of team members within the yard./liliAssists management with addressing employee concerns and conflicts.   /li/ulh2ispanDuties/Responsibilities:/span/i/h2ullispanGreets customers as they enter the yard./span/lilispanAssigns job tasks to yard and delivery employees according to receiving and delivery schedules and customer traffic./span/lilispanLoads and unloads products into customers, vendors, and company vehicles safely and accurately./span/lilispanResponds to customer’s questions regarding products./span/lilispanResolves customer complaints or requests in a timely manner; escalating to management when required./span/lilispanMoves, stocks, and rearranges building materials in the yard, warehouse, and interior of the store./span/lilispanOversees yard inventory and notifies the Inventory Coordinator or management when inventory needs to be adjusted./span/lilispanPerforms routine safety checks on forklifts according to company guidelines./span/lilispanOrganizes and maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the lumberyard and warehouses, by stacking products squarely, and picking up bands, chocks, and trash./span/lilispanVerifies customer or vendor ticket matches the merchandise that is being loaded./span/lilispanCovers exposed materials, when required, to prevent weather damage./span/lilispanCuts lumber and other related materials as requested by the customer./span/lilispanOperates a forklift./span/lilispanAttends all store meetings and training sessions./span/liliPerforms other related duties as assigned.  /li/ulh2ispanRequired Skills/Abilities: /span/i/h2ulliAbility to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision./liliAble to remain professional and courteous at all times./liliKnowledge of weight distribution and loading patterns./liliThe ability to adjust the controls of a machine or vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions./liliMust have a current driver’s license and auto liability insurance./liliMust successfully complete all company training and certification requirements regarding equipment usage, including obtaining McCoy’s forklift certification./li/ulh2ispanEducation and Experience:/span/i/h2ulliA high school diploma or equivalent is preferred./liliForklift operator certification./liliSuccessful completion of on-the-job training, including completing supervisor training within 6 months of entering the role; completing levels 1 and 2 of the positional training offered. /li/ulh2ispanPhysical Requirements: /span/i/h2ulliProlonged periods of standing and moving around the yard and warehouse./liliMust be able to use the three-point hold when getting into trucks and/or forklifts./liliMust be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times, occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds, and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time./liliThe ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods./liliMay need to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays./liliMust be able to work in various types of weather./li/ulp/pp/pp/pdivdivdivdivpspanMcCoy’s is an equal opportunity employer.
