This internship provides a hands-on experience in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for both internal positions and direct hire placements. Join our team and gain valuable skills in recruiting while contributing to the growth and success of Surge Staffing./p pstrongemThis is a full-time (Monday - Friday) On-Site position that is for Surge Staffing HQ located in Columbus, Ohio./em/strong/p pstrongPrimary Responsibilities:nbsp;/strong/p olliAssist in sourcing candidates through various job boards/liliScreen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for internal positions and direct hire placements./liliCoordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers./liliSupport in drafting job descriptions and posting job openings on relevant platforms./liliMaintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records./liliCollaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and priorities./li/ol pstrongAdditional Duties:/strong/p ulliProvide administrative support to the recruitment team, including scheduling meetings and organizing candidate files./liliConduct research on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition./liliAssist in creating and updating recruitment metrics and reports to track key performance indicators./liliCollaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts with organizational goals./li/ul pstrongQualifications:nbsp;/strong/p ulliAt least a Junior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills./liliAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment./liliDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems./liliEnthusiasm for learning and a passion for talent acquisition and recruitment./li/ul pstrongEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER:/strong/p pSurge is an equal opportunity employer.
