We are currently recruiting for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to work as needed during facility hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm./pp/ppOur Pharmacy Technicians demonstrate working knowledge of the policies and procedures regarding procurement, storage, preparation and delivery of pharmaceuticals in hospitals and health system settings. The successful candidate will process physician orders for review by a pharmacist and pick and prepare medications or supplies under pharmacist review. They will also restock supplies and medications, deliver supplies and medications, procure supplies and medications following standard purchasing guidelines and provide feedback on the stock level and on inventory control and delivery processes./pp/ppibResponsibilities /b/i/pullipAssist Pharmacist and other Technicians with daily tasks./p/lilipIV Compounding./p/lilipHandle doctor calls, faxes and medication deliveries./p/lilipOrganizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions; preparing labels and calculating quantities./p/lilipMaintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations./p/lilipAssist with monthly unit inspections./p/lilipProvide excellent customer service to customers./p/lilipDeliver medications to automation machines./p/lilipOther duties as assigned./p/li/ulp/ppibQualifications/b/i/pullipHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred./p/lilipActive Florida Pharmacy Technician license in good standing, required./p/lilipPTCB certified or ability to obtain certification preferred./p/lilipIn-patient/hospital experience preferred./p/lilipIV Certified or IV experience preferred./p/lilipStrong verbal and written communication skills./p/lilipStrong customer service skills./p/lilipDemonstrated ability to use technology such as computers, smart phones and tablets./p/lilipMay require vendor credentialing./p/li/ulp/ppibWhat is expected of you and others at this level/b/i/pullipApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks./p/lilipReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area./p/lilipMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications./p/lilipWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution./p/lilipWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods./p/lilipAdheres to all quality guidelines./p/lilipWorks under moderate degree of supervision./p/lilipWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor./p/lilipRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor./p/li/ulp/ppbAnticipated hourly range:/b $18.90 per hour - $24.30 per hour./ppbBonus eligible:/b No/ppbBenefits: /bPaid time off in compliance with applicable laws./ppbApplication window anticipated to close:/b 03/23/26 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible./pp/ppThe hourly range listed is an estimate.
