Provide assistance to the Lineage Transportation Team.p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ph2bKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /b/h2ullih2Prepare dispatch schedule for drivers and equipment daily to achieve customers on time service requirements/h2/lilih2Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with carriers to ensure effective usage/h2/lilih2Use dynamic routing system to efficiently route product outbound/h2/lilih2Create and maintain inbound and outbound orders in the dispatch system/h2/lilih2Monitor drivers’ hours to ensure appropriate workload to prevent violations/h2/lilih2Coordinate and communicate changes to delivery and backhaul assignments to accommodate for unforeseen circumstances such as late truck arrival, breakdowns, or last-minute customer requests/h2/lilih2Address matters that arise and provide recommendations to solve issues in order to meet customer business needs/h2/lilih2Identify continuous improvement opportunities for productivity, efficiency, and customer service/h2/li/ulh2/h2h2bADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/b/h2h2/h2h2bMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)/b/h2ullih2High School diploma or GED/h2/lilih2Experience in shipping or transportation coordination environment experience or relevant certification/h2/lilih2Basic knowledge of shipping and transportation operations and familiarity with import and export processes/h2/lilih2Willingness to learn transportation management software/h2/lilih2Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite /h2/lilih2Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers/h2/lilih2Excellent organizational skills and the ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment/h2/lilih2Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity/h2/li/ulp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"spanWhy Lineage?/spanbr /br /spanThis is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
