Field Service Technician

pbPosition Summary/b/ppHi-Tech is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service and maintain commercial food service and supermarket equipment across customer locations. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with experience in electronics and electrical systems, or those eager to grow through hands-on technical training./ppYou will work directly with customers to diagnose, repair, and install equipment critical to daily operations in grocery and food-processing environments./ppbKey Responsibilities/b/pulliService and support commercial customer accounts in the field/liliTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems/liliWork on supermarket and food-processing equipment including:ulliScales/liliMeat wrapping and labeling machines/liliBeverage systems/liliRelated commercial food equipment/li/ul/liliPerform equipment installations and upgrades as needed/liliDocument service work and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams/li/ulpbRequired Qualifications/b/pulliStrong mechanical aptitude/liliPrior experience servicing commercial or industrial equipment preferred/liliBasic electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills/liliAbility to work independently in customer environments/liliValid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally/li/ulpbNice to Have/b/pulliElectronics background (servos, motors, CPUs, PLCs, or programming)/liliExperience installing or repairing beverage machines/liliPrior OEM or technical training programs (such as Hobart or similar platforms)/li/ulpbTraining amp; Development/b/pulliOn-the-job training available/liliTwo-week training school in OH if needed/liliOpportunity to build advanced technical skills in commercial equipment servicing/li/ulpbCompensation/b/pulliHourly pay: $28–$30 per hour, dependent on experience, education, and prior training/li/ulp/ppbr /bspanAbout Smart Care/span/b/pp/ppspanSmart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment.
