To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. br/br/bEssential Job Duties/bbr/liBilling Cycle Management: Generate and submit claims to insurance companies, government programs, and other payers for services provided to patients./liliUtilize agency management software to accomplish billing tasks efficiently. /liliPayment Posting: Record and post payments received from insurance companies, patients and other sources to the appropriate patient accounts in the billing system./liliAccounts Receivable Management: Monitor and follow-up on unpaid claims, rejections/denials, and any outstanding balances to ensure timely collections./liliResearch and resolve billing discrepancies or denial to facilitate reimbursement/liliCollaborate with payers to address claim disputes./liliHome Health Agency knowledge: Understanding the processes and requirements related to exchanging health care information with Home Health Agencies, including compliance with regulations and standards./liliReconciliation: Performing regular reconciliation of accounts receivable records with payments received to identify and resolve discrepancies. /liliCommunication: Collaborating with other departments and agencies to resolve billing and payment issues and improve processes./liliReporting: Generating reports on billing and AR performance, including key metrics and KPIs./liliEffective communication with team members and management./liliObtain and maintain an understanding of customers’ objectives and goals./libr/br/bOther Job Duties/bbr/liOther duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader./libr/br/bTravel Requirements/bbr/liTravel up to 10%, including overnight travel/libr/br/bRequired Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills/bbr/liHigh school diploma required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field preferred/liliA minimum of 3+ years of RCM experience in the homecare industry preferred/liliProficient in MS Office and MS Teams/liliStrategic and creative mindset/liliExcellent written and oral communication skills/liliCritical thinker and problem-solver/liliSelf-starter and team player/libr/br/divspan style="font-size: 16px;"The base wage range for this US-based, full-time, and non-exempt position is $/spana rel="noopener noreferrer" class="postings-link" href="http://22.00-24.00"span style="font-size: 16px;"22.00-24.00/span/aspan style="font-size: 16px;" per hour.
