This position requires leading and mentoring junior lab technicians, implementing and optimizing extraction methodologies, and conducting in-depth quality control checks./p#160;pResponsibilities:/pulliProvide guidance, training, and support to junior lab technicians./liliOversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to protocols, safety measures, and quality standards./liliManage and execute complex extraction procedures, optimizing methodologies to maximize yield and quality./liliImplement and refine extraction techniques such as CO2, ethanol, hydrocarbon, or other relevant methods./liliConduct comprehensive quality control checks on extracted products, ensuring consistency, potency, and purity./liliDevelop and enforce quality assurance procedures to comply with industry regulations and standards./liliMaintain and troubleshoot extraction equipment, ensuring proper functionality and performance./liliConduct regular equipment inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance tasks./liliMaintain accurate records of extraction activities, batch logs, inventory, and quality control reports./liliGenerate detailed reports outlining extraction processes, yields, and any deviations encountered./liliEnsure strict adherence to safety protocols, handling hazardous materials, and waste disposal in compliance with regulatory requirements./liliProvide training and enforce safety measures among lab personnel to maintain a safe work environment./liliContribute ideas for process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and workflow optimizations./liliCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including cultivation, quality assurance, and production, to coordinate activities and meet production goals./liliCommunicate effectively with management, providing updates on operations, challenges, and opportunities for improvement./liliFollow and implement the company#8217;s core values, including respect, diversity, sustainability, research, and service./liliAdhere to iAnthus' cultural principles of collaboration, innovation, and accountability./li/ulpAdditional duties as assigned.
