This position is required to teach assigned classes as scheduled or as assigned, and perform administrative functions related to teaching. nbsp;/p pstrongKey Duties/strongnbsp;/p ul liTeach classes on a regularly scheduled basis assigned and create a welcoming environment for students that is conducive to learning.nbsp;/li liAssist Program Coordinator, Campus Director of Education, or Campus Executive Director in developing curriculum, preparing course materials, class scheduling, and maintaining tools and equipment used by students./li liMaintain a neat and orderly classroom or lab./li liEstablish and maintain academic and attendance records for student files. Medical Assistant Instructor/li liSubmit attendance, grades, student evaluations, and all other reports/documentation to Supervisor or appropriate personnel as required by established procedures./li liNotify Supervisor of any current or potential issues which warrant immediate attention./li liUtilize proven retention techniques approved by the school to assist students./li liComplete performance-based teacher education modules as assigned by Supervisor, based on outcomes of classroom observations, instructor evaluations, and student completed surveys./li liAttend and/or conduct in-service training, faculty meetings or other mandatory meetings./li liAssist with the department equipment and supplies inventory and submit replenishment requests to Supervisor or appropriate personnel./li liAlert Supervisor to student absences, especially on first, third and fifth absence occurrences. nbsp;/li liPerform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.nbsp;/li /ul pstrongRequired Qualifications/strongnbsp;/p pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner.
