The purpose of the position is to be responsible for the set-up, service and clearing of food and beverage items to banquet guests in a manner consistent with Leal service standards. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient matter. At all times, Léal Vineyards staff members are expected to be attentive to our guests needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. /p pThe Facilities Coordinator will follow through with the proper and timely setup and tear down of each event. Includes the setup of tables, chairs, stages and audio/visual equipment as needed. Maintain all equipment and facilities in an organized, clean and safe environment. /p pstrongEvent Preparation/ Set-Up /strong/p ul liReview the banquet event forms at the beginning of each shift to ensure that the correct linen, glassware and flatware is set for the event.  Set up and tear down of banquet rooms as stated on the BEO and seating charts./li liOrganize and clean banquet storage areas/li liCleaning and mopping facilities – bathrooms, offices, event facilities, etc./li liAssist in ensuring that the events are setup on time  /li liPrepares tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables, etc. as specified in the Banquet Event Order./li liAssists in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the Banquet Event Order./li liChange out dirty linens with clean linens/li liPractice ‘clean as you go’ policy/li liFinal breakdown of events/li liEmpty all trash from the facilities after the event /li /ul pstrongGuest Service /strong/p ul liGreet guests warmly with a friendly and professional greeting/li liProject an approachable, engaging, friendly and accommodating demeanor to both external and internal guests./li liFollow all company standards and expectations to deliver exceptional guest service./li liUse professional language that is devoid of slang, swear words and refrains from addressing guest in an overly familiar manner./li liAnticipate guests needs and asks questions, delivers service within department guidelines, check for guest satisfaction, and offer additional assistance and expresses friendly appreciation for their business with our company. /li /ul pstrongEvent Service/strong/p ul liDelivers and serves food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments, and accompaniments for assigned banquet events./li liEnsures each course is cleared in a timely manner and that tables are properly crumbed./li liRemoves china, glassware, silverware, and trash from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and delivers them to the stewarding area./li liAssists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking and rolling of silverware./li liReplenishes buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation./li liMonitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas./li liMonitors tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests.  /li /ul pstrongGeneral Tasks/strong/p ul liKeep equipment in order and stored in appropriate areas /li liKeep accurate and adequate inventory of all supplies/li liInspect all equipment to make sure that it is safe and free from defects/li liDrive company vehicles as needed for pick-ups and deliveries/li liDrive company golf carts as needed, at appropriate speed and with caution/li liEnsure the proper use of equipment/li liPractice safe working habits and take appropriate breaks and meal periods in a timely manner per state and federal labor laws/li liMaintain high standards for safety and cleanliness in all areas of the property/li liAssists fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships./li liFollows Company and department policies, procedures and service standards./li liFollows all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and beverage items./li liPerforms all other job duties as requested by management/li /ul p /p
