p style="text-align: start;"Alliance Health at Baldwinville is a 93 bed LTC/Skilled Nursing Facility. We are seeking a dependable and experienced Per Diem Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This position is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals in accordance with physician-ordered therapeutic diets, resident preferences, and federal/state long-term care regulations./ppThe ideal candidate understands the importance of food quality, safety, and resident satisfaction in a healthcare environment./pp style="text-align: start;"strongDuties and Responsibilities:/strong/pul class="editor-ul tight" data-tight="true"lipPrepare meals in accordance with planned menus and standardized recipes/p/lilipFollow physician-ordered therapeutic diets (mechanical soft, puree, diabetic, low sodium, etc.)/p/lilipEnsure compliance with CMS, state, and facility food safety regulations/p/lilipMaintain proper food temperatures and complete required logs/documentation/p/lilipAdhere to infection control and sanitation standards/p/lilipAssist with meal service and tray accuracy for residents/p/lilipMaintain a clean, organized kitchen environment/p/lilipCommunicate effectively with dietary manager and nursing staff/p/li/ulp style="text-align: start;"strongQualifications:/strong/pul class="editor-ul"lipPrior cooking experience required; long-term care or healthcare experience preferred/p/lilipKnowledge of therapeutic diets strongly preferred/p/lilipServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)/p/lilipAbility to work independently and efficiently/p/lilipFlexible availability, including weekends and holidays/p/li/ulp style="text-align: start;"/pp/p
