Demonstrates qualities which show an interest and competency level for future advancement. This position allows the employee to become familiar with the advanced, quality critical stages of manufacturing contact lenses./ppnbsp;/ph3Responsibilities/h3divulliResponsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of work areas and application of continuous improvement methods./liliOperates specialized equipment necessary for specific product groups (e.g., automated lathing/injection molding and metrology equipment)/liliIndependently operates a wide range of automated equipment and is able to meet production goals./liliStrict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)./liliPerforms multiple job functions within the business and willingly flexes to other production areas as business needs dictate.nbsp;/liliContribute to lean/Six Sigma projects as required./liliWhen required, assists coordinator and/or technicians in managing workflow./liliDemonstrates the capacity and desire to participate on and lead teams./liliAs business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime./liliPerforms other duties as needed/assigned./li/ulpstrongTravel:nbsp;/strong/ppThis position does not require travel.nbsp;/ppThis position includes a 10% shift differential.nbsp;/p/divh3Qualifications/h3divpuKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:/u/pulliExhibits good communication skills – verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language in order to read, understand and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)./liliProficiency in operation of and basic troubleshooting of automated equipment./liliEffective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.nbsp;/liliDemonstrates the desire for personal and professional continuous improvement./liliAttain a strong knowledge and understanding of the SOP’s, regulatory requirements (eg.
