p data-pasted="true"emAMECO, a North American leader in Construction Site Services, Product Distribution, and Equipment Rental is seeking an strongEquipment Field Service Technician/strong to regionally support our rental fleet to include field service and repairs. nbsp;The position is based out of our Harrison, OH facility./em/ppstrongSummary: nbsp;/strongstrongEquipment Field Service Techniciannbsp;/strongis a member of our field service teamstrong,nbsp;/stronghandling all aspects of inspecting, repairing, trouble shooting and performing service/maintenance both in the shop or in the field on service calls. nbsp;The types of equipment to be worked on entails aerial lifts, forklifts, compressors, and generators, to name a few. nbsp;Travel would primarily be local to regional em(working within an approximate 200-mile radius). nbsp;/emOccasional overnight travel may be required as the workload dictates. nbsp;nbsp;/ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliPerforms major, and in many cases non-routine service repairs to customers and company owned equipment in the shop and/or in the field to include customer and project sites. nbsp;/liliCompletes necessary paperwork, including work orders, part orders, billing and/or warranty information, as applicable.nbsp;/liliAssists other technicians in advance troubleshooting and problem resolution as called upon.nbsp;/liliFrequent interaction/communication with customers concerning repairs and service needs.nbsp;/liliMaintains an orderly work area/service truck./liliRemains compliant with all applicable policies and procedures/standards.nbsp;/liliAdheres to and supports AMECOrsquo;s Health, Safety and Environmental policies.nbsp;/liliMeets expectations on attendance and punctuality./liliPlans, organizes, and carries out assignments as directed. nbsp;/liliOther duties as assigned.nbsp;/li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliMust have strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude.nbsp;/liliAble to reference, understand and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints./liliA combination of education and related equipment repair experience equaling five years.strongnbsp;/strong/liliMust have job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job. nbsp;/liliExperience working with/on hydraulics, pneumatics, and electric equipment./liliAbility to communicate effectively with various audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors. nbsp;/liliExperience working on the following types of equipment: aerial lifts, forklifts, compressors, welding machines and other general industrial construction equipment./liliRequires a professional and customer service demeanor.nbsp;/liliAs a non-CDL driver, this field position would require a valid driverrsquo;s license with a good driving record, along with the ability to pass associated driver requirements to include MVR, driver physical, road test./liliThis position operates with minimal supervision and may assist in training other equipment technicians, as requested. nbsp;nbsp;/liliAble to perform physical requirements of the job, including, but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing for extended periods of time, and working in inclement weather as workload/assignment dictate.nbsp;/liliAble to work overtime (including weekends) and occasional overnight travel as needed.nbsp;/lilinbsp;The selected candidate must supply own basic tools, larger tools provided. nbsp;nbsp;/li/ulpem*These are the typical years of experience required for this job.
