The Residential Manager II is responsible for the day-to-day operation of assigned residence in support of the individuals’ daily activities with a person-centered approach, including staff scheduling, supervision, and training./ppbr//ppstrongSchedule: Tuesday- Saturday 9am-5pm, with flexibility and ability to provide on-call support./strong/ppstrongLocation: Poughkeepsie, NY (Vassar Road IRA)/strong/ppstrongSalary Range: $28.75 to $30.75 per hour/strong/ppbr//ppstrongDepending on the needs of the program, additional certifications (training provided) for med administration $1.00, insulin $.50, G-Tube $1.00 and ostomy care $.50!/strongnbsp;/ppbr//ppstrongResponsibilities include:/strong/pulliEnsure residents receive appropriate training, support, and supervision necessary in acquiring functional daily living needs as specified in the residential habilitation plan. These include personal hygiene, socialization, safety awareness, and money management./liliEnsure residents are supported in learning and making informed choices regarding their interests and goals in life. Assist residents with self-advocacy and help to communicate preferences to appropriate service providers./liliCommunicate effectively with all staff including Program Nurse making certain all proper medical needs or concerns are addressed and care is provided. This includes assisting with OPWDD regulatory compliance./liliAssist with screening, selection, training, and evaluation of program staff., including completing OPWDD initial and Annual Core Competency Evaluations for direct reports./liliCoordinate staff schedules and always maintain adequate levels of staffing in the program.
