This role is key in helping create a positive shopping experience for our customers by offering prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service./span/ppspan style="color: windowtext;"nbsp;/span/ppstrong style="color: windowtext;"uResponsibilities:/u/strong/pulliGreet customers with a positive and friendly attitude./liliAssist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions./liliPromote and recommend store products to customers by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and new arrivals./liliUpsell and cross-sell items to increase store sales./liliOperate the cash register, handle cash, provide correct change, credit card payments and process sales transactions accurately and securely./liliEnsure the accuracy of sales records and balances at the end of each shift./liliRestock shelves, refrigerators, and displays as needed./liliClean and sanitize the store, including aisles, counters, and bathrooms, to ensure a pleasant environment for customers./liliAssist in inventory control, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise./liliReport low stock levels to the store manager and assist with inventory counts./liliMonitor store for any security issues, theft, or suspicious activity./liliAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of customers and staff./liliWork closely with other team members to meet store goals and improve the customer experience./liliFollow directions from store managers and supervisors to support daily operations./li/ulpspan style="color: windowtext;"nbsp;/span/ppstrong style="color: windowtext;"uQualifications:/u/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required./liliPrevious retail or customer service experience is a plus./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills./liliBasic math skills and cash handling experience./liliAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays./liliReliable and punctual with a strong work ethic./li/ulpspan style="color: windowtext;"nbsp;/span/ppstrong style="color: windowtext;"uReports To: /u/strong/pullispan style="color: windowtext;"Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager/span/li/ulpspan style="color: windowtext;"span class="ql-cursor"?/span/span/ppstrong style="color: windowtext;"uPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:/u/strong/pullispan style="color: windowtext;"Must be able to stand extended periods (up to 8 hours) during shifts./span/lilispan style="color: windowtext;"Capable of lifting boxes and products, maximum 50 lbs., frequently 10-25 lbs., and carrying items across the store./span/lilispan style="color: windowtext;"Ability to bend, squat, and reach for products on shelves, both high and low.
