Maintenance Engineer I - Full-time

div class="fieldValueText" div class="fieldValueText" pstrongPosition Summary:nbsp;/strongUnder the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing general maintenance and servicing tasks to ensure the proper functioning of hospital buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role includes overseeing a designated portion of the facility, carrying out assigned preventive maintenance tasks, and addressing daily unscheduled work requests./p pstrongResponsibilities:nbsp;/strong/p ul liCompletes preventive maintenance (PMrsquo;s) tasks as scheduled./li liCompletes all maintenance service requests as assigned./li liInspects, operates, and maintains operational equipment; reports deficiencies to management./li liMakes shift rounds, checking equipment for normal operations, observes meters and gauges, and makes adjustments as needed./li liDocuments log sheets and contacts manager/contractor if outside service/repairs are needed./li liMonitors chemical inventory, use, rotation, and disposal; monitors working order and efficiency of chemical pumps./li /ul pstrongQualifications:nbsp;/strong/p pRequired:/p ul liA valid driver#39;s license with an acceptable driving record and must be insurable through the medical center#39;s insurance carrier/li liAdditional certification may be required for certain settings or populations.
