In addition, eligible team members may enjoy the following benefits:/strong/p ul liMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits/li liVacation, Personal Day, Sick Pay, Holidays/li liComplimentary Meals/li liBonus Opportunities/li liCompany Paid Life Insurance/li liTeam Member Discount Program (LifeMart)/li li401(k) Savings Plan with Company Match/li liRecognition Programs/li liStudent Loan Refinancing/li liPet Insurance/li liEmployee Assistance Program/li liEmergency Financial Assistance/li /ul pstrongThe Activity Director/strong is responsible for all programming, organizing, scheduling, budgeting, promoting, facilitating, and directing the activities and excursions for the Community in order to enhance the residents� independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company�s mission and values./p pstrongResponsibilities:/strong/p ul liProvide an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the Community and promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, the establishment of clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes and other such activities./li liActively engage in residents� activities through personally leading activities and encouraging resident participation in all activities, excursions, and special events./li liRecruit, develop, manage and schedule Activity Assistants, Drivers, and Community Volunteers./li liMaintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards./li liEncourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments./li liAble to drive Community vehicles./li /ul pstrongQualifications/strong:/p ul liMust be at least 21 years of age./li liHigh school diploma or equivalent./li liRequires current Class C, prefer either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement./li liA minimum of one (1) year experience in providing planned activities and knowledge in evaluating residents� needs./li liPrefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees and volunteers/li liFlexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department./li liAble to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)/li liMust pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests/li liFor the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines./li /ul pstrongOakmont Management Group,/strong based in Irvine, California, is a recognized leader in the senior living industry that manages a portfolio of communities under the Oakmont Senior Living and Ivy Living brands.
