Starting compensation for this position is strong$25.00 per hour plus $1 per hour for each ASE up to $29.00 per hour/strong. With previous experience, our new Auto Technician can be hired with OEM training/certification, but must obtain 4 ASEs within first 12 months of employment. This position also offers a strong$500 tool allowance paid upon hire and annually/strong! We know if we do this, success will follow - for both our company and our employees./p p /p h2Responsibilities/h2 ul liEnsure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines./li liComplete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs./li liComplete ADA installs as required upon completion of training./li liMaintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair./li liProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance./li liComply with part and inventory tracking procedures./li liUtilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools./li liMay process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs. /li liPerform weekly inspections, preventative checks, and repairs on shuttle buses./li liMaintain the work area in a safe and clean condition./li liRequires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time./li liRequires ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions /li liModerate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds./li liPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as required./li liFollow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards./li /ul pemEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans/em/p p /p h2Qualifications/h2 ul liTwo years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required./li liOEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications required/li ul liIf hired with OEM/manufacturer training, MUST obtain 4 ASE certifications within 12 months of hire (cost sponsored by Enterprise)/li /ul liUnderstanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus./li liMust have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years./li liNo drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)./li liA minimum of basic level experience and understanding of Microsoft Office Products required./li liMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future./li liMust be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing./li liMust be at least 18 years of age/li liApart from religious observation, must be available to work the following schedule as part of an operational shift bid including weekends, nights and holidays: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm. /li /ul
