Graco is part of your daily life./span/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppbr /Proactively determine extension of credit for the assigned Graco Accounts Receivable portfolio, and the resolution of disputed transactions in accordance with Management Policy by minimizing the bad debt expense, managing the days sales outstanding to the corporate objective, and supporting corporate sales efforts through the utilization of credit./pp/ppbWhat You Will Do at Graco/b/pullipGather information and provide recommendation for approval of payment terms and credit limits for new and existing customers, consistent with Corporate Policy and Guidelines./p/lilipCollection of outstanding Accounts Receivable balances utilizing various collection procedures including telephone, written communication, or personal contact with the customer, and through collaboration with Sales and Customer Service where appropriate./p/lilipMonitor customer credit exposure on select accounts so it doesn’t exceed the established limits. Release orders for shipment within defined credit limits and account status in accordance with established policy and procedure./p/lilipMonitor, research and resolve open disputed items (chargebacks, deductions, short payments, and unpaid invoices):/p/lilipDetermine the reason and status of all open disputed transactions./p/lilipResolve disputed items with the appropriate areas (Customer Service, Warranty, Returns, etc)./p/lilipWork directly with customers to resolve or collect disputed transactions./p/lilipIdentify deduction trends, patterns, and concentrations and work with appropriate areas to identify and address the root cause and champion process change./p/lilipRecommend write-off of uncollectible disputed items, with support, as required./p/lilipMonitor, research, and resolve all open Credit Memos, On Account Cash, and Unapplied balances/p/lilipWork with Cash App and Credit Reps to ensure proper application of unapplied cash./p/lilipIdentify appropriate off-sets for open credit memos./p/lilipWork directly with the customer to arrange for disposition of remaining open credits/p/li/ulp/ppbWhat You Bring to Graco/b/pullipBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience./p/lilipMinimum 0-2 years in finance-related function/p/lilipBasic familiarity with Credit terms and conditions and financial instruments, with the aptitude to learn./p/lilipExcellent communication skills, both written and oral./p/lilipDemonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and make sound credit/risk decisions./p/lilipDemonstrated ability to effectively handle sensitive confidential credit issues with customers./p/lilipDemonstrated ability to learn a variety of computer programs./p/li/ulp/pp#LI-Hybrid/pp/pp/pp/ppspan style="color:#000000"ispan style="font-size:11pt"Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
